Compensation Dependent on training, experience and on-the-job accomplishments. 

Job Location Simcoe, Ontario, Canada (Bright open concept office located in downtown core.) 

Hours 9 to 5, flex-time, occasional after-hours work with reasonable notice 

Job Summary Organize information and write for the web and other media. 


Responsibilities
  1. Write for our clients and to satisfy internal needs.
  2. Determine requirements.
  3. Layout how the result will be organized and write a few representative sections.
  4. Review sample with client and update as per feedback.
  5. Complete all necessary research for the project and then write.
  6. Review with client and update as per feedback.
  7. Edit documents written by others.
  8. Keep up to date on literary and marketing trends.
  9. Work directly with clients, suppliers and team members within our company.
  10. Other duties as requested.
 

Desired Skills & Experience
  1. Relevant degree or diploma and on-the-job mentoring from an experienced writer.
  2. Superb English, French would be an asset.
  3. Personal creativity and conceptual thinking: brainstorming, storytelling, ideation.
  4. A genuine passion for the arts, current culture, history and language.
  5. A strong portfolio of work; examples must be provided.
  6. Superb keyboarding skills.
  7. Proficient with Windows, Internet, office suite and professional publishing tools.
  8. Advertising and selling products and services.
  9. General knowledge about business and our customer’s interests.
 

Requirements
  1. Must have licence and reliable vehicle for travel; mileage & parking will be reimbursed.
  2. You must be bondable, eligible to work in Canada, and free to travel abroad.
