How Popular is Your Website?

What is your Google Page Rank and why should you care?

Google Page Rank is a measure of how popular your page is relative to others. Google uses it order search results. It is a number ranging from 0 to 10, a higher number is better. The scale is logarithmic so a ranking one level higher is ten times better. For example a Page Rank of 3 is ten times better than 2.

The gory technical details can be found on wikipedia. This is the "secret sauce" that got google off to a strong start.

If your site doesn't show up on the first or second page, then your Google page rank may be the problem. Sites after the first page get almost no visitors.

If are not satisfied with the number of people that visit your website then contact Steven Thomson (519)426-8981 x806 thomsons@picassofish.com.

Are You Having an Identity Crisis?

Your brand should be a source of confidence to your consumer. The very definition of your brand is the foundation on which all your marketing strategies and materials are built upon. Branding is a term that describes the process of developing awareness of your brand in the marketplace.

Let's move on to identity. Identity is the part of branding that deals with the visual aspects of branding. These visuals include your logo, colour palettes and typefaces that exist across all of your company's marketing and communications materials. Maintaining visual continuity is vital as a sign of stability and reliability and builds confidence in your brand. To guarantee this continuity and govern how an identity is applied, a set of guidelines are established and assembled in an Identity Standards Manual.

Picasso Fish can help you establish these essential guidelines and create your own Identity Standards Manual. We can even help you with a new look, or inject life into your current identity. Contact Steve Thomson today for more information on how we can help build your brand. (519)426-8981 x806 thomsons@picassofish.com
