Why Use The Name 'Picasso Fish'?

We are often asked why the company is named Picasso Fish. The short answer is that it's   a memorable name.

A bunch of friends brainstormed with the owners and generated 50+ names. Most candidates contained words like computer, software, web, e-whatever and so on.

John out of tribute to his favorite but dearly departed marine fish, a Picasso Trigger Fish (Rhinecanthus assasi), jokingly included the name Picasso Fish on the list.

Half of the candidate names were eliminated because their domain names were gone. Then we did an opinion survey and to our surprise, Picasso Fish ranked high. It was memorable, unique and sounded creative so Picasso Fish made the short list.

Our lawyer recommended against using other candidates on our short list because they were too similar to existing company names. That left Picasso Fish as the winner.
